COME TO RELAX & DE-STRESS

Join us to support Mental Health Awareness Week from 14th – 20th May. We’ll be holding a variety of events including:

YOGA SESSIONS

Yoga with Ruth at Eat. Sleep. Yoga. from 11.00am – 11.30am on MondayTuesday and Wednesday. She will also be available in the afternoon to share information on the benefits of yoga.

MEDITATE IN BIRMINGHAM

On Thursday, from 11am, ‘Meditate in Birmingham’ will be holding a 30 minute guided meditation, as well as a talk on the theme of wellbeing.

A GENTLE EXERCISE CLASS

On Friday at 12.00pm The Gym will lead a low-impact class, and their friendly staff will be available to talk about how exercise can help to combat stress.

CHARITY CAKE & COOKIE DECORATING

From 11.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday there will be a cake and cookie decorating workshop with a Royal Wedding theme. Simply make a small donation to join in – all proceeds will go to the mental health charity Mind.

BHANGRA DANCING

On Sunday there will be a Bhangra dancing performance. The performance time will be confirmed shortly, so watch this space.

There will also be adult colouring books available throughout the week where you can stop and take a minute to enjoy a moment or two of mindful activity. So come along, take part and talk to our experts about reducing stress and improving your wellbeing.
